Let the Music Play from the Wrist with Garmin Forerunner 645 Music

Only one thing was missing in Garmin Vivoactive watches and Garmin Forerunner sports watches, the ability to play music without the help of a smartphone. However, new Garmin Forerunner 645 Music will soon fill in this space too.

Let’s take a glimpse of the amazing features of the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music

Built-in Music

Apparently, there will be two versions of Forerunner 645; one with music support and without. In addition, it sounds like you can store up to 800 songs that you can pair with Bluetooth headphones. Also, it will let you stream music for offline listening from the selected streaming services.

Familiar design

It appears that Forerunner 645 will be similar to Garmin’s latest smartwatch, Vivoactive 3. Having a weight of 42 g, Vivoactive 3 comes with 20mm silicone watch bands and stainless steel bezel. Also, it sounds like for smooth navigation, new Forerunner 645 will have physical buttons in place of the touchscreen display.

It is expected, just like other Forerunners, this wearable will be 5ATM waterproof and have 1.2”, 240X240 transflective display. Moreover, to track activities, there will be heart rate monitor along with the inbuilt GPS/GLONASS.

Sports Tracker

It looks like it will include thermometer, compass, and barometric altimeter, in addition to the active tracking features like auto goal modes and the Move bar. Plus, you will get your training status time to time.

Smart Features

This new Forerunner 645 model will include all current smart features, such as the ability to control music playback, respond to notifications and Connect IQ support.

Batter Life

It sounds like the battery life will be just like Vivoactive 3; up to 7 days and 5 hours in GPS mode.

Easy payments

Freely you can leave your wallet and smartphone at home, as it’ll come with Garmin Pay payment solutions. In other words, you can do purchases with your watch without any hitch.

Price and release date

The price of this amazing smartwatch is listed $449 which is only $50 cheaper than Forerunner 935. Though the launch date is not revealed, there are chances that we will be hearing more about this watch by the end of this year or in early 2018.
